If you've done a search for the word passion, and found yourself here,
then you'll know already that the word "passion" is used in relation to
Christianity's Christ. Perhaps a significant amount of the world "got"
that connection in Mel Gibson's The Passion of The Christ. Though not a biblical scholar, I'm certain it wasn't a term invented by Hollywood.
When that movie was originally released, the media carried stories
about public reaction to the movie. Yet the stories took on the
perspectives of beliefs and opinions, often from people who clearly
haven't seen the movie but instead were responding to the news of its
release. Those stories became
filled with separatist remarks, feuds from religious groups, and a
passion that was not constructive. Okay, they were angry and hateful.
I haven't seen the movie. Go figure: I have an opinion and a
belief. This website began as my perspective. My reaction was to renew the root
feeling of The Passion without challenging anyone's belief.
When
I say "I Have The Passion," I am affirming the presence
of God in my heart and in my life. I am reminding myself of
my belief in and commitment to the message of Love that Jesus
teaches. Love transcends my human fears and worldly experiences.
Love guides me.
I
am creating my life through this inspiration, to honor all
people and seek my greatest good and divine purpose. May love,
peace, joy and The Passion be yours.

Have The Passion!
The message, the calling, and the opportunity to create a better world

And with this perspective, I began a personal campaign to generate a
feeling of Love and fulfillment in the message of "The Passion of The
Christ" and I created a not-for-profit t-shirt / promotional product
line. The emblem from one of the shirt designs is below.
Alas, the personal campaign reached a few friends and hasn't seemed to change the world (yet :-).
